Meet the Talent
Baseball
Nick Horvath
A two-way star in college ball for the Florida Gators, Nick made his presence known as a ball hawk in centerfield with web gem catches and laser throws. Nick's skillset mirrors that of a future big league centerfielder who can make a big difference with both his glove and his bat.
Deacon Liput
After a standout three year career at the University of Florida, Deacon was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 10th round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Consistency in the field and at the plate have helped the talented infield prospect progress quickly through the ranks in just his first year as a professional.
Brandon Bednar
Brandon's ability to play anywhere on the field allows his team great flexibility in placing him in the lineup everyday. As a multi-tool athlete, he will find himself patrolling a big league infield very soon.
Larry Walker
The 1997 National League MVP and future Hall-of-Famer was one of the rare five-tool talents to ever play the game. After spending time in both Montreal and Colorado, Walker ended his historical career in St. Louis. His '97 MVP season is still considered one of the greatest individual seasons in baseball history.
Walker's resume includes five All-Star appearances, seven Gold Gloves, three Silver Slugger awards, as well as earning MLB Batting Champion honors three times. Walker continues to spend time with the Canadian National Team in player development.
